Purpose:
To provide guidelines for rescheduling of a game governed by the Logan County Soccer Club.
Policy:
1. It is the policy of LCSC to allow games governed by the LCSC to be
rescheduled due to inclement weather or upon request of either coach
involved in the game.
a. All games that are cancelled due to inclement weather or rescheduled at the request of the participating coaches must be rescheduled and played within 2 weeks, before or after, the original game’s scheduled play date or before the end of the season (whichever comes first).
2. It is the policy of LCSC that the responsibility for rescheduling the cancelled games due to inclement weather is the responsibility of the participating coaches.
a. It is the responsibility of the Home Team coach to initiate the rescheduling of a game cancelled due to inclement weather. A forfeit win will be awarded to the Visiting Team if the game is not rescheduled within two weeks or before the season ends.
3. It is the policy of LCSC that it is the responsibility of the coach requesting the reschedule of a game not due to inclement weather to set up the reschedule of the game.
a. A forfeit win will be awarded to the opposing team if the game is not
rescheduled within two weeks or before the season ends (whichever comes first).

4. It is the policy of LCSC that both coaches must agree on the rescheduled time and date. If both Coaches do not agree, then the dispute over rescheduling is sent to the Referee Scheduler/Assignor. If the dispute over rescheduling cannot be resolved by the Referee Assignor/Scheduler then it is sent to the 2nd Vice President.
5. It is the policy of LCSC that the referee assignor must be notified at least 72 hours in advance of original game time and must approve all rescheduled games not due to inclement weather.
6. It is the policy of LCSC that the coach requesting the of a game cancelled with less than 72 hours notice will be responsible for paying the referee fees for the game. The referee assignor will not assign referees or allow the game to be rescheduled until the fees have been paid.
a. If the referee fees are not paid by the coach of the team requesting the reschedule, the game will not be played and a forfeit win will be awarded to the opposing team.

Procedure:
A. Upon notification of cancellation due to inclement weather:
1. The Home Team coach will contact the Visiting Team coach to re-schedule the cancelled game.
2. Upon agreeing to a date and time for the game to be played, the Home Team coach will contact the referee assignor to the referee(s).
3. The game is played on the re-scheduled date and time.

4. If a date and time cannot be agreed upon, the Home Team coach will contact the 2nd Vice-President of LCSC who will arbitrate between the Home and Visiting Team coaches a date and time for the game to be played.
a. If an amicable agreement cannot be reached, the Player committee may award a forfeit win or a tie at their discretion.
B. Rescheduling a game at the request of a participating coach.
1. The participating coach that is requesting that the game be re-scheduled will contact the referee assignor a minimum of 72 hours prior to the original date and time of the game so that a referee and linesmen will not show up to the field at the original date and time of the game.
2. The participating coach that is requesting that the game be re-scheduled will contact the opposing team’s coach to discuss re-scheduling of the game.
3. Upon agreeing to a date and time for the match to be played, the coach requesting the re-schedule will contact the referee assignor to schedule a referee and linesmen.
4. The game is played on the re-scheduled date and time.
5. If a date and time cannot be agreed upon, the coach requesting the re-schedule will contact the 2nd Vice-President of LCSC who will arbitrate between the teams a date and time for the game to be played.
a. If an amicable agreement cannot be reached, the Player Committee may award a forfeit win, loss, or tie at their discretion.
