Purpose:

 

To set the guidelines for the number of Coach’s Meetings held per year.

 

Policy:

 

It is the policy of Logan County Soccer Club that Coach’s Meetings be held at a minimum 4 times per year.  LCSC Coach’s will meet at least once before the start of the Spring season, and then a second time at or after the mid-point of the Spring season. LCSC Coach’s will meet at least once before the start of the Fall season, and then a second time at or after the mid-point of the Fall season.  Coaches Meetings do not require the Governing Board to convene, however, all issues dealing with Policy & Procedure and/or Bylaws has to adhere to the existing Bylaws and Constitution of LCSC.

Board of Directors, Logan County Soccer Club; Coaches, LCSC

 

Procedure:

 

1.      The President of LCSC will convene the Coach’s Meeting prior to the start of the Spring and Fall seasons to discuss matters pertaining to the upcoming season and matters of LCSC in general.

 

2.      The President of LCSC will convene the Coach’s Meeting at or after the mid-point of the Spring and Fall seasons to discuss matters pertaining to the end of the season, the off-season, and LCSC matters in general.

 

3.      The 4 required Coach’s Meetings will be held the 3rd Monday of the month, on the same day scheduled for the LCSC Board of Director’s meeting.

4.      Any coach may request that a Coach’s meeting be convened in addition to the four (4) required meetings.

 

5.      Each team has one (1) vote in the Governing Board meetings in accordance with LCSC Bylaws.

 

6.      Coaches are encouraged to attend Governing Board meetings to vote on matters pertaining to LCSC.

 

7.      Voting will be prohibited on any matter pertaining to LCSC if there is not a quorum of LCSC Members, as defined by LCSC Bylaws.
