Purpose:

To establish guidelines for bidding on capital expenditures exceeding $250

Policy:

It is the policy of Logan County Soccer Club that competing written bids for capital expenditures exceeding $250 will be sought.  Further, it is the policy of LCSC that local companies (those within Logan County) will have preference and will have opportunity to re-bid to match or beat the lowest outside bid.  If the original, or re-submitted, bid is within 5%, or $200 (whichever is less), of the lowest bid received, the bid of the local company will be accepted.

Responsibility:

Board of Directors, Logan County Soccer Club

Procedure:

The appropriate LCSC  Board member will solicit bids from companies that offer the product and/or service LCSC is seeking to obtain, with a focus on local companies where possible.

A deadline for bids will be set for each item with the bidding period not to exceed 1 month, or from one Board meeting to the next, whichever is shorter.

All bids will be brought before the full Board for review and voting.
