Purpose:
To establish guidelines for fundraising.
Policy:
It is the policy of Logan County Soccer Club to have fundraisers each season to assist with the financial cost of running LCSC.

Procedure:
1. The 1st Vice President will research fundraising activities, products, and/or services to be used for each season (Spring and Fall).
2. The 1st Vice President will have all of the fundraising information and materials approved by the Board of Directors no later than the Board meeting prior to the first sign ups of each season.
3. The 1st Vice President will have all of the fundraising information and materials at the first sign ups of each season and will distribute the information and materials to the parents/guardians at the time they are registering the child to play.
4. The 1st Vice President will discuss the fundraising information and materials with the coaches at the first coaches meeting. The 1st Vice President will create a checklist of coaches from the first coaches meeting to cross reference when the fundraising materials/proceeds are returned on Scrimmage Saturday.

5. The 1st Vice President will retrieve the fundraising proceeds/materials from the coaches on Scrimmage Saturday. To ensure that each coach has turned in their fundraising information and materials, the 1st Vice President will cross-reference the checklist created at the first coaches meeting. Any coach that has not turned in their fundraising proceeds/materials will not get their official roster and schedule from the registrar.
6. The 1st Vice President will ensure that the coaches understand that the LCSC fundraiser is not for individual teams. The fundraising is for LCSC as an entity. Teams may seek sponsorships from the community, but may not use the LCSC fundraiser for their individual team.
7. The deadline for fundraising activities will be Scrimmage Saturday.
8. The 1st Vice President will work with the coaches and teams to ensure that all funds raised by the LCSC fundraiser are received by the club on Scrimmage Saturday.
9. Coaches that do not return the fundraising materials/proceeds on Scrimmage Saturday will forfeit their team one place in the standings at the end of the season.
10. The 1st Vice President will be responsible for answering all questions concerning fundraising activities.
11. Any appeal, question, concern of the fundraising activity must be directed to the 1st Vice President in writing.
12. If the person appealing, questioning, or with a concern wishes to appeal it further, they may submit their appeal, question, or concern in writing to the Board of Directors with a copy of the written decision of the appeal to the 1st Vice President.
13. The decision of the Board of Directors is final and binding.
14. Each fundraiser must be approved by the LCSC Governing Board.
15. Each fundraiser is separate and monies from the separate fundraisers may not be combined.
16. The 1st Vice President is responsible for any monies spent on fundraising activities be accounted for with receipts.

17. The 1st Vice President will make a listing of all products sold, prices charged, and amount of product left over from the fundraiser to report to the LCSC Governing Board at the first meeting after the end of the fundraiser.
18. Proceeds from each fundraiser may not be rolled over into a new fundraiser. Proceeds and products must first be turned in and accounted for from each separate fundraiser prior to monies being allocated to the 1st Vice President for a new fundraiser.
